It was more than two years ago Airtools vanished from this site. The way things look now I feel it´s wrong to have a notice up telling everyone that this is temporary. It is not I´m afraid.

Therefore I hereby declare the Airtools project dead. We are still developing it for in-house use, but there will be no more public versions.

The reason behind this is off course the problems getting a good codec, but there is another problem. Aircaster started out as an "hack" meant to solve our own problems. Its scheduler can only handle three programs per week and the builder is limited to six repositories. Those limitations must be removed. While this is not to hard to do, it will require a rewrite of lots of the code.

I do not feel I have the time to continue with Aircaster and Jingle anymore. But I wish to thank everyone who helped in testing and making Airtools a better product.
